JOE PERRY PROJECT
A list of known tour dates for the Joe Perry Project which were at times playing 6 nights a week and sometimes 2 shows a day. Ralph Mormon was apparently sacked half way through the first tour but sang on the June 11, 1980 concert.
After leaving Aerosmith, and the Whitford-St Holmes project folding, Brad played in the Project between March and May 1982 (and a couple of dates in Oct 82: - later went on to record with Rex Smith).
In 1984, it was detailed that Steven Tyler jumped on stage during one of the JPP shows saying Joe was returning back to the Aerosmith fold. Joey Kramer played drums for the Project for a few dates at the end.
The underlined dates have links to setlist to give people an idea of what material Joe played in the Project, including Aerosmith songs.
Extremely
grateful to Cowboy Mach Bell (JPP vocalist: March 1982-May
1984) who kindly provided the extremely detailed data from March
1982 onwards, which gives an excellent view of the life and times
of The Joe Perry Project. Mach's current band is Last Man Standing. Cheers Mach!
