| Just Push Play | |
| Written by: Steven Tyler/Mark Hudson/Dudas | |
| This track got a new lease of life
when Aerosmith recorded a series of Dodge RAM commercials in LA in
early October. The commercials were aired in late October resulting in
increased sales of the "Just Push Play" album. On November 13th, it was reported that Just Push Play would be officially released as a single by Columbia Records as a result of fans requesting the song on radio stations. The previous night, at their MSG, N.YC. gig, the track had been moved from its customary position to replace the position where "Sunshine" had been. The "United We Stand" (Washington, DC) live performance was used as the video to promote the song. A Dick Clark ABC Music special broadcast on December 31, 2001 broadcast a live performance from Fort Lauderdale in November 2001. |

13th studio album is released 4 years to the month after
their last studio album, "Nine Lives" (and is

10 years ago for four albums). Interest has been such that the American release has been pulled up 2 weeks from March 20th to March 6th (detailed on Feb 1). The Release Party scheduled for Virgin Record Store in New York City is cancelled due severe weather conditions over North East America. |

| On
February 2nd, the Japanese release date was pulled up
from March 14 to March 7. The tradition of the Japanese version carrying additional tracks continues with two bonus tracks (country specific versions are made to ensure the home market buys this version rather than cheaper imported versions, ie USA version). During 1999 after the massive success of the Armageddon soundtrack, "Nine Lives" was repackaged and re-issued in the International world with "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" appended. This wasn't possible with the Japanese release due to insufficient space with it already supporting additional tracks (ie Fall Together). Album includes
lyrics to bonus tracks plus translation of all lyrics
into Japanese. Charts |

| It
appeared that the International version would be same as
the standard USA version (according to Sony Music Holland
- the first site to detail the correct "Just Push
Play" tracklisting. originally listed as coming out
in Europe on March 19th). February 9: Sony Music Holland detail their release date now March 12 from March 19. Feb 13. Sony Music France report a release date of March 20. Feb 16th: Sony Music Germany also move the release date up to the 12th. March 12 date also detailed by Spain and Switzerland sites. Feb 26: Sony France report the album out March 13 in France. Feb 13: HMV Japan report the European version of Just Push Play as below with the Face track and is CD-EXTRA (13 tracks, length 52:01, Columbia COL 501535 2). March 3: Sony Music Germany are also showing their release to carry the CDROM video of Jaded (ie reason for being detailed as CDEXTRA). The formats in the
UK will be: CD (COL 501535 2), Vinyl (COL 501535 1), MD
(COL 501535 8) and MC. Feb 21: Sony Music UK detail the
release date is now March 12 (rather than March 19). NOTE: Whilst the CD is 13 tracks, the CD Player on Microsoft Windows only recognises 12 tracks and details the album length as 48:59. The header data is incorporated into the CD and thus displays track names although "Face" has no data setup. There also seems a mismatch in the data for it as shows up in MP3 programs as 7:10 long whereas only 4:38.
